Hello fellow food lovers! This is my first attempt at blogging so be gentile.

I’ve been a lover of anything food for most of my life and I’ve been in the restaurant business for almost 30 years. I am widely known as a guy that loves to entertain but really I just love to grill and BBQ for people and enjoy some drinks while at it. When we had our restaurant on the Central Coast of California, Federico’s Central Coast Grille, I started a catering / Competition BBQ company called The Good Grub Guys.

As for the name “Food Porn” It came about because I always take pictures of what I’m cooking and my wife was teasing me about it. She asked me why I do it and I told her because I like to look at it when she’s not around! As it usually does, the conversation degradated and my friend Matt tossed the term “Food Porn” out there.  So from that night on, everytime I took a picture or put a pic on my facebook page, I always added “Happy Food Porn Friday!” …or what every day it was.  The pictures were usually responded to with cries of “where’s my Invite?”..”Dude you’re killing me!”..”That looks so f’n good!”…and ” I’m on my way over, break out the wine!”.

While I like to cook but but I LOVE to BBQ. I love everything about BBQ’ing! I like BBQ grills, tools, pits, Food Trucks, recipies and more than anything…. EATING!  So I started this blog to tell BBQ tales and talk about everything BBQ!

Now since I really like to see what everyone is cooking, I’m going to add a page that will allow you to post pictures and tell me what your cooking. In turn, I will do the same. Don’t feel obligated to just post BBQ pictures, all pictures are welcome and any dish you wish to brag about will be drouled over accordingly!

Bon Appetit` or Come and get it!….makes no difference to me!
